Last Post + New Beginning

Goodbye is a simple word, but it can be a pretty powerful one also.
It pains me to say it, after all of the effort I've put into Vap's Blog of CP,
and the loyal friends and fans who made each post worth it.
But alas, I have to... here it is:
Goodbye.
Why, you ask? I'm sure every blog out there,
from the 'Tip of the Iceberg' blogs,
to the 'Slushy' sites,
has its ups and downs.
And sometimes the owners just quit because the pressure to get the
updates out at 10:00 P.M., fight against other blogs for supremacy,
and all the other stresses of a managing a blogsite...
are just too much.
I am not quitting because of that.
The reason is harder to explain...
But I'll try.
Lately, a lot of blog owners have either been quitting,
or saying they're going to.
A wave of depression has come over me,
taunting me to get out of the way
of, other, more successful CP sites.
Namely Mimo.
He's not the only one.

I often feel foolish, thinking someday I'll best a famous penguin or another.
I know it's impossible.
So, that is why,
after (about) 5 months,
I'm leaving another blog behind.
Wait! Don't leave yet.
3 things to know before you go (I rhymed! :D):
Firstly, I will be having a final going away party, and need some blogs to advertise.
(Yes, I'm looking at you, person with the famous blog.)
Secondly, I am considering giving away VBCP for membership, a coin code, and the like.
And thirdly, I'll soon start a new blog on Wordpress, here's hoping the third time will be the charm. (Check back later for the link.)

Sorry to anyone who thought I had quit blogging or anything like that. But, actually I'm about to take a leave of absence, if I don't quit (Blogger) altogether. What this means is that I probably won't post at all until the Ninjas finally arrive. And also, since my hits weren't going up at all even before I stopped posting, I'm starting to wonder if all this is really worth it. Please don't think of me like some guy who thinks he's gotten to old for CP, 'cause I'll NEVER quit CP. So if anyone actually used to use Vap's Blog of CP as a cheat source, I'm sorry; please refer to the sites on my blogroll, b/c those are great blogs. One thing to lighten the mood: There's a cool gamesite out called BonteGames.com and I'm serious, it really is great. I was referred to a game on there by Kcaj497 and give him credit for telling me about the game. So... ttyl penguins!

CP TURNS 3: New Free Items, Pin, and more!

Wow, this is officially the coolest looking party to hit CP! Although it only has two free items (both located in the Coffe Shop, click on the fan to reveal the new Party Hat, and the Ice Cream Apron is lying on the floor in the bottom right corner of the room), and one of them is a repeat, with these awesome tunes, you can't help but get in on the fun! Now I know you're anxious for party pics, so here they are:

The Town Square (Looks a bit like Times Square, dontcha' think?)

The Nightclub, it has a sweet new dance floor

The Coffe Shop, complete with awesome cake

New Mission!

Here is my review for CP's newest case, Mission 9: Spy & Seek: The long awaited, supposedly final, Club Penguin Mission is finally out! The question: Does it live up do the hype?! Yes and no. Mission 9 is certainly very fun, and you'll get a kick out of the scene with Herbert at the end, but my main argument against it is that it's simply too short, and not very fulfilling. You'll breeze through it in just a few minutes (10 min. tops), and the biggest problem is that YOU DON'T CATCH HERBERT!!! Though it opens the door for one last adventure, you don't feel that sense of accomplishment you usually get from the other missions. Plus, if you factor in all the coolio peeks in the newspaper, I think we were all expecting something a little bit more. All the same, it's a fun ride that most will play over again just for the last few scenes. I'll try to have a guide up by Thursday. If I ever start a funny pics section, this will be the first to go in it. Lol!

With the return of the ghost suit, black superhero mask, and gold viking helm, how could you not be excited. This isn't a very good pic 'cause I wanted to post this quickly, but it should tell you everything you need to know.

There is a new post on the Club Penguin blog that talks about a few of the cool new things happening in CP. Here they are, in order of awesomeness!
Note: 1 star is lowest Vap Rating, 5 star is highest Vap Rating.

The Fall Fair Party '08, Vap Rating is 3 1/2 stars. Apparently, last year's Fall Fair was one of the best parties to ever rock Club Penguin. I'm still pretty skeptical about this, because the Music Festival, Penguin Games, and other recent parties have been some of the best I've seen since I joined 281 days ago (yes, that's how old I am).

A Rockhopper visit, Vap Rating is 2 stars. While Rh's trips to the shores of our fantastical island paradise are certainly very fun, they happen so frequently that they aren't worth getting too hyped-up about.

The Halloween Party '08, Vap Rating is 4 stars. The rating is so high for this party mostly because I'm very excited personally to see what a creep-fest is like in such a peaceful place. (That and I can't wait to buy a ghost suit.)

3rd Anniversary Party, Vap Rating is 3 3/4 stars. How can you NOT be excited about CP turning 3?! And then there's always that super-rare, limited edition, free party hat that comes out...

New Yearbook, Vap Rating is 2 1/2 . Normally, this wouldn't be too exiting for me, but... Well, this is the first full year I've experienced in Club Penguin, and it isn't over yet! So all in all, it's kinda special to me right in my little pengy heart.

New Mission (Mission 9), Vap Rating is... 5 stars! In my opinion, Secret Agents are basically the coolest thing in CP, and where would they be without their Top-Secret Missions? And you have to consider the recent quality jump in the writing too.

New Play at The Stage: Ruby and The Ruby

A new detective "film noir" play has arrived: Ruby and The Ruby! Go and see/act it out now!
Club Penguin has truly outdone themselves. Never has a play been so anticipated, so talked about, or so AWESOME. The main character is a P.I. named Jacques Hammer, and the supporting characters are: Ms. Ruby (Great costume for girls), Tenor (He has has a nice outfit too), and the Doorman, or Dom. There's a secret Pin in this stage...

Now, this isn't necessarily the order in which you have to click the items, but it works.
1. Click the door with the eye on it.
2. Click the filing cabinet in Jacques' office.
3. Click the big book on the table with the lamp at the bottom of the room, towards the right.
4. Click the bin (trash can) referred to in the script.
5. Click the vase up in the top right-hand corner.
6. Click the portrait that reveals itself to contain the safe, and in the safe, the Ruby Pin.
Will post other new pin and Costume Trunk cheats soon. Bye!

Well, let me start off by saying, this party was way cooler than I had ever hoped for! A HUMONGOUS thanks to Lady Maryann and Pie for advertising my party and/or blog, so all of you awesome penguins could come. I had a few laughs with some old friends, and a couple of chats with some new ones. This was truly a memorable day for me in the History of CP. A few cool penguins at my party:

Alto Bhai, a neat friend. He was partying with us the whole way through.

Spoil Pink, who also followed us while we hopped from room to room. If I'm not mistaken, she recorded the party and might put it on Spoil Pink TV! I'll be checking her YT channel, will you? www.youtube.com/user/wdgcvn65

H2omantine, who was very funny, and brought some life to the party.

Lady Maryann, she stayed up 'til midnight to come to my party! (Sorry about that.)

Pieman501, a longtime buddy who rocked the house!

Two new buddies, Dj Rokstar and Laurendepp, also rocked!

I know I can't possibly mention every kind who came/joined, but I hope this will suffice: THANK YOU EVERYONE!!! So where are the party pics, you ask? Right here!

Do you see yourself?! The party moved from the Dojo, to the Ski Mountain (Where I enjoyed some cool sled races), to my igloo, to the Ski Lodge, to the Iceberg, to The Stage (we painted the walls, and ourselves, hehe), to the Forest, and finally to the Cove. Some of you wouldn't let me leave! I had a great time. I think we covered almost all of Club Penguin. Some things to look forward to at my next party: Even more room hopping and game playing, featured penguins afterward, adding buddies, and maybe, just maybe, a membership! So keep your eyes peeled, and Waddle on!

I just got home from school, and apologize for the late post, Penguin Style/Wig catalog cheats coming soon. A new postcard came out, and it has to do with the new Soccer Pitch... Does that mean it's staying longer than we thought?! Only time will tell. There have been some, err... rather interesting rumors surrounding the next play at The Stage. The newspaper said that something top secret was going on, and Rory couldn't tell us much. Now Team Blue Rally 2 has disappeared and been replaced with CONSTRUCTION and penguins are encouraged to jack-hammer away at the ground (I don't see how this helps).

Yesterday the 150th Club Penguin Times came out. Hippo-palooza! Yahoo! Well actually, it was kind of pathetic.......

Which is why I made this picture. C'mon CP, couldn't you have done something just a little bit cooler? Oh, well. Nothing to get too mad about.
At least the new pin ROX.

Grab the 150th Newspaper pin now, only two short rooms away from the Town! Go inside the Night Club and 'climb' down the hidden ladder in the right speaker to get the pin, located in the Boiler Room.

Paper Boat Scav-hunt & B-ground+ Plus Return of RH and Team Blue Rally 2!

Aqua Grabber Update, WOOT!

Go and try the new level on Aqua Grabber, if you haven't already. It's called Soda Seas. It appears as if Rockhopper dumped all his cream soda in the ocean surrounding Club Penguin. Next time you see him, tell RH that pollution is bad! Lol. There is also a new map at the beggining and an update to the first level, now known as Clam Waters. See my picture:

Ok, you go and grab the "Pearl Shaped Rock", lol, conviently located over all the way on the right side of the Big Clam. Then drop it into his tounge-like appendage and make your daring escape with the real valuble pearl in tow. Sweet. By the way, my pink puffle really came in handy when I played. Just some advice.

Step right up, and meet the Penguin Band!

Awesomeness!!! I was puzzled when I went to the Iceberg to see a sign that said that "the Penguin Band is on break", and investigated. I now know that it is possible to actually meet the P-Band as real penguins (like RH). And also like RH, they each give out the same cool, free background if you try to buddy them. Here it is (along w/ the band):

Backstage Music Cat Cheat (and free/not-free items)! + Farewell to CPIP!

WOOT! WOOT! The best party (can you even call it that?) ever, The Music Festival, has arrived! I even became a member just for the occasion. Which is a good thing, because if I wasn't I wouldn't be able to get this pic of the Music Catalog Backstage. The room rox.

Moving on to the free/not free items.... Go to the Plaza, Cove and Snow Forts for the Free T-shirt, Maracas, and member's only Backstage Pass and Shirts. Enjoy.

And now most importantly, BYE BYE CLUB PENGUIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, WE WILL WADDLE ON!!!!!!!!!!! The CPIP has really shown us what it means to "revamp" Club Penguin. I've loved it ever since the day I first waddled as a test penguin. We all did.

Mix Master Update!

Check it out! The Mix Master (Suspected title) is almost ready for release! Tomorrow, w/ the music festival and such, the game can be found in the Night Club. CP's first ever music game should be awesome.
By the way, get up early (or stay up late) if you want to get a backstage pass that come with a special suprise! Sweet!

Wow, a WHOLE LOT has happened in CP since I've been gone. Look at the pics above, and check out three of Club Penguin's new features released this week. I hope you like 'em, considering I think they are about the awesomest thing to happen in CP since I've been around. Check out the free blue baggy. Send me a postcard if you see me walking, or should I say waddling, on Club Penguin. Btw, my fav. servers are Fjord (my cool buds go on it), Arctic (For some reason my home server), and that's it for now. Comment Mod is staying off until further notice. Me Have Blidget!!!

Hi, all. As you hopefully noticed, there is an odd gadget on the sidebar displaying my posts. This is called a blidget (they display current posts from your blog). They are very simple to make, just go to www.widgetbox.com and click 'make a blidget' at the bottom. Enter you site name, then toggle with a few settings, sign/log in (If you have an account already), and you are good to go. The post as follows: Hmm... There must be a few "bugs" left in the new features, as they are STILL not out yet. However, on the bright side, a new, "rockin" edition of the Club Penguin Times was released. Hooray for the upcoming music festival! If you're a member, gear up! The Penguin Band will also make an appearance. I have taken a pic of the Upcoming Events, so there is no need to explain them. I think I've covered it all.
MAJOR UPDATE: They put off the launch of the new features 'til early next week! Read the CP Blog for details. And I'll be away at camp. Awww, man.

Hello Penguins!

Penguin Mail is ALMOST ready to launch, but before it does, we wanted to get your feedback on it. Below is a image of what it will look like. After our first post about Penguin Mail a few weeks ago we got a bunch of creative comments about designs and ways to make postcards even cooler than they are now. Many of you like the logo we posted on that blog, but asked to see more of the actual design.

Here's one view of the new Penguin Mail:

You'll definitely get the full picture when the feature launches this month--even as early as next week.This 'mailbox' will allow you to send mail to your buddies even when they're not online, save postcards, ignore postcards and delete them too. The coolest part to me is that whenever I'm in Club Penguin and receive a postcard, Penguin Mail will let me know! That way I won't miss any cool cards from other penguins!

No matter where you are in Club Penguin, you'll always be able to check your mail by clicking on the grey envelope at the top left of your screen.

As always, let us know what you think and definitely what you would like to see added in the future!

Hey everyone! I know I'm posting this a bit late (a day!), but here is a pic of me standing at the Iceberg (they're also on the Ski Mountain), dancing to the coolio fireworks in honor of Canada! (Not to mention the Fourth of July!!) I'm not Canadian myself, but it's a cool country, plus the CP moderators live there (I think). So thank you for checking out my second try at CP blogging.
